Poem in Your Pocket Day!
Topic: My Journal| Comments OffOrange Oranges
by kindergarteners and first graders
Today is Thursday.
A dragon breathes fire.
The moon is bright.
I like colors.
I see stars.
I like oranges a lot!
I have a loose tooth.
I light up the world.
This is a brainstorm poem.
Learning numbers and letters.
Great Foods
by second and third graders
Ice cream is a delicious treat.
The sun is bright with all the light.
Bunnies like to jump.
Pizza is awesome.
Red velvet cupcakes are the best.
The butterfly flutters in the cool wind.
Cake is a treat to eat.
Silver earrings make you look great!
You can eat apples.
Peter Piper picks purple peppers. Peter Piper pickles peppers please.
Flying
by fourth and fifth graders
I plant green tulips in the spring.
I got some ice cream from a penguin.
I had a gold key to open a door.
Flying on an eagle.
I have flying fruits.
Tomato rhymes with Potato.
Gold all in my chain.
Animals are furry—they run like they’re in a hurry.
My mom says I play too many video games—I think she’s a pain.
